Collecting antiques and “junk” has always been a passion of mine and my husband. It started before we were married with Sunday trips to the local antique store looking for pieces for our future home. We would talk about what we could turn that dresser or tub into, where we would put cool finds and how that would look in our home or in the garden. Finding antique and vintage items has escalated from those sundays to scouring Facebook Marketplace, local flea markets, Craigslist and the mecca of all finds Brimfield. We love the chase of finding one of a kind, practical pieces that can be turned into something functional or refinished to be made new again. Now, we have a garage and basement full of cool pieces that are looking for a place to be displayed. The Bee and the Wasp was born.
